Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism” by Chögyam Trungpa.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Thank You for allowing us to find You in any way within our individual beliefs and practices that we may.  Thank You for being the constant.  Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

“If you are involved with the intensity of crescendo situations, with the intensity of tragedy, you might begin to see the humor of these situations as well.  As in music, when we hear the crescendo building, suddenly if the music stops, we begin to hear the silence as part of the music.”

As I was typing today’s passage, I happened to be seemingly randomly listening to the following podcast (posted below). I became amazed as I was typing, for when I began to type the word “crescendo“, I audibly heard the word “crescendo” broadcasted on the podcast. It was a serendipitous synchronicity. And Prime Source, God, is the constant of these creations. Amen.
