Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Happiness is an Inside Job” by Sylvia Boorstein.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Living out our inner truths, we may abide in love and peace as we attain self-love and self-peace.  And so it goes with happiness.  Thank You for this.  Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

“Speech that compliments is, by definition, free from derision, which clouds the mind with enemies and makes it tense.  Kind speech makes the mind feel safe and also glad.”
