Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Gone With the Wind” by Margaret Mitchell.
Today I pray, “Dear God, Today is a day when I have a plan and I don’t have a plan. Today is every day. Yet today is a heightened sense of the unknown. I am about to move home to a place of where I am not yet aware. I am packing up all of my belongings, preparing to load them into a moving truck tomorrow. I have no idea where I am going. This is life. What an adventure! Thank You for this. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to the following passage:
“Longing hearts could only stand so much longing.”
—MARGARET MITCHELL
It is of course and by Divine reason that we often move through the longing of our hearts. This is action of personified hope. Of faith, hope, and love… the greatest of these is love. May we be reminded of this every day.
