Today’s Prayer to Passage comes from the book ‘The Gift of Change: Spiritual Guidance for a Radically New Life’ by Marianne Williamson.

Today I pray, “Dear God, I know that I am living my own truth. And I am putting all of my faith in what is meant to be. My heart is in it, this life. And I thank You. I thank You for Your response in advance. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I opened the book to find this passage:

“The only way to gain power in a world that is moving too fast is to learn to slow down. And the only way to spread one’s influence wide is to learn how to go deep. The world we want for ourselves and our children will not emerge from electronic speed but rather from a spiritual stillness that takes root in our souls. Then, and only then, will we create a world that reflects the heart instead of shattering it.”

When I set aside ego and control and simply allow the stillness… power is its most abundant. When my grace is consistent, my life is reflective of God’s Love. My offering is unique. I awaken every day and become reminded of this. Over time, I see my blessings flow. And my heart is strengthened.
