WHAT YOU RESIST PERSISTS

Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘Meditations from Conversations with God’ by Neale Donald Walsch.

Today I pray, “Dear God, I am bold enough to be bold. And I am peaceful enough to be peaceful. Is it OK to be both? I know the answer. I need a deeper understanding of this. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I opened the book to the following passage:

“What you resist persists.”
—NEALE DONALD WALSCH

When I am called to be bold, I am to be bold. When I am called to be peaceful, I am to be peaceful. When I doubt God’s all-knowing guidance, I am trying to do life on my own. When I surrender, blessings flow. When I resist a guidance that I have spent my life becoming attuned to, that whisper will turn into a nudge… and then a pinch… and then a swift kick. Be authentic now; that’s the deeper answer.
