Today’s Prayer to Passage continues within the ancient scriptures of the “Nag Hamadi”. This month’s spiritual devotion within these texts will be taking place between June 1 – June 30, 2017.

Today I pray, “Dear God, There is much gratitude held in the discipline of choice. Discipline of choice may be held in self-love and integrity. I choose integrity. And I choose self-love. Together, we delight in the gifts abundantly produced as I float with grace in the discipline of my faith in You. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

“And I shall withdraw with everyone who will know me. And they will enter into the immeasurable light, (where) there is no one of the flesh nor the wantonness of the first to seize them. They will be unhampered (and) holy, since nothing drags them down. I myself protect them, since they have holy garments, which the fire cannot touch, nor darkness nor wind nor a moment, so as to cause one to shut the eyes.”

This is the protection of Divine Love within the discipline of faith. This is the understanding of faith as a choice. This is choosing Paradise. This is choosing Heaven. This is accepting self-love and bowing we are whole, perfect, and complete. Each and every one of us. All ways. Amen.
