Today’s Prayer to Passage continues within the ancient scriptures of the “Nag Hamadi”. This month’s spiritual devotion within these texts will be taking place between June 1 – June 30, 2017.
Today I pray, “Dear God, You are with me anywhere and everywhere I go. I am in You. And You are in me. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:
“And he said, “The man is like a thoughtful fisherman who threw his net into the sea and pulled it out full of little fish. Among all the little fish, that thoughtful fisherman found one fine large fish that would be beneficial to him and, throwing all the little fish back into the sea, he easily chose to keep the large one. Whoever has ears to hear let him hear.”
—NAG HAMADI SCRIPTURES
I take this passage as it is beneficial to me. And I honor the lesson I receive from it. I remember the lesson and apply it to my daily life. It becomes an empowering context. And within this context, I thrive. And I am humbled in the learning. And God is honored in the teaching. And Source and I are humbled and honored together, as we co-create. Amen.
