Today’s Prayer to Passage continues within the “Nag Hamadi” scriptures. This month’s one-month spiritual devotion to these ancient writings will take place between June 1 – June 30, 2017.

Today I pray, “Dear God, My energy is rising. I can feel it. I am excited within this arising energy. And I know there is now a time to share my authenticity further. I trust. I have faith. And I am ready. Thank You for this. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

“The Hymn of the Lord
Which He Sang in Secret to the Holy Apostles, His Disciples

XCIV

Now before he was taken by the lawless Jews,
who also were governed by the lawless serpent,
he gathered all of us together and said:
Before I am delivered up unto them let us sing an hymn to the Father,
and so go forth to that which lieth before us.

He bade us therefore make as it were a ring,
holding one another’s hands,
and himself standing in the midst he said:
Answer Amen unto me.
He began, then, to sing an hymn and to say:

Glory be to thee, Father.

And we, going about in a ring, answered him:
Amen.

Glory be to thee, Word:
Glory be to thee, Grace.
Amen.

Glory be to thee, Spirit:
Glory be to thee, Holy One:
Glory be to thy glory.
Amen.

We praise thee, O Father;
we give thanks to thee, O Light,
wherein darkness dwelleth not.
Amen.”

I love a praise arising here. It is fitting to read a praise of glory to that which is held in reverence. I feel this way. I feel an energy of praise and glory. I love to see this energy reflected in the passage today. Amen.
