Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Hope in the Dark: Untold Histories, Wild Possibilities” by Rebecca Solnit.
Today I pray, “Dear God, So much awaits humanity to soon be discovered. And there is a becoming aligned with the idea of the lower vibrations seeking the drama of cognitive dissonance. It is in these passionately Spiritual and esoteric communities online that we find space to breath clear breaths, to remember our power and our resources. It is in this space of our individual awakenings (as we each awaken in our own ways) that we may remain peaceful amid the rising uprisings at their own beautiful early stages of awakening. We love all levels of consciousness here. We attune to all purposes and align with what is. We remember who we are and lead those by our ways of being in all of this uprising.
Ascension is taking place for all on planet earth at this time. And we must first love ourselves if we are to move forward in leadership roles. Leadership roles during the uprising aspect of Ascension look different than the contemporary leadership roles we easily recognize. This courage, this power Source within us, is leadership itself. All conflict can be attuned to a powerfully peaceful advantage. We are here, at this time, for a reason.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:
“Joy doesn’t betray but sustains activism. And when you face a politics that inspires to make you fearful, alienated and isolated, joy is a fine act of insurrection.”
—REBECCA SOLNIT
When I feel joy, I take careful notice to discover the distinction between inauthentic happenstance-joy brought about only by external seedlings apart from my spirit within… and my inner eternal joy, which I knew before I was born. I wait for the eternal joy, and I do not take a substitute. If I fear anything, I fear an inhibition from authentic joy. I was born to feel unbound. I was born to be free. I was born to belong in a world that sells inauthentic joy packaged as justice for being alive; I belong in this world because I belong in a world where I can proclaim with great fervor that I do not justify my existence with a settling for any inauthenticity. I belong in this world because eternal joy is my birthright. And I stand, here to sustain this, not only for myself but for all.
