Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “A Course in Miracles” scribed by Helen Schucman.

We’ve been going within “A Course in Miracles” for the month of January 2017. This has been the first month since starting this blog that I have committed to one book for the entire month’s time. And I knew that January 2017 was the time to accept this commitment. And now, we continue within these teachings.

Today I pray, “Dear God, I want the world to be open, as a conscious collective, to the idea that we all belong. As this is a truth, sometimes it is difficult for me to accept that the collective conscious does not accomplish this as an idea. Many do understand this truth, and many do not. I know that I am here to live as, to be, this idea that we all belong. What words of encouragement can You provide in this? Thank You, God. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage on page 479:

“How weak is fear; how little and how meaningless. How insignificant before the quiet strength of those whom love has joined! This is your ‘enemy’ — a frightened mouse that would attack the universe. How likely is it that it will succeed? Can it be difficult to disregard its feeble squeaks that tell of its omnipotence, and would drown out the hymn of praise to its Creator that every heart throughout the universe forever sings as one? Which is the stronger? Is it this tiny mouse or everything that God created? You and your brother are not joined together by this mouse, but by the Will of God. And can a mouse betray whom God has joined?”

Yes, it is God, which brought us here. God is the constant. In this, we all belong. Forgetting this, we become insignificant squeaks and squabbles. We become our mere illusions of separation, not separation itself, as separation does not really exist. What God has given is Love and Oneness. Life changing developments do take place when we change our patterns from those of elusive separation to these of Love and Oneness. Our evolutionary purpose and goal in this lifetime is to be a part of a collective consciousness that is becoming a more outward expression of this inner knowing. And together, we awaken, we ascend, we enlighten. Rise and Shine!
