Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “A Course in Miracles” scribed by Helen Schucman.

Brilliant gratitude is felt in this 30-days spent with “A Course in Miracles”. In so many ways, I feel that I stumble along the way in life. Not here. There is stability here. I reside in calm here.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Open our hearts to Love. Come in swiftly, and in Your Ultimate Confidence.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage on page 416:

“Hear not its madness, and believe not the impossible is true. Forget not that the ego has dedicated the body to the goal of sin, and places in it all its faith that this can be accomplished. Its sad disciples chant the body’s praise continually, in solemn celebration of the ego’s rule. Not one but must believe that yielding to the attraction of guilt is the escape from pain. Not one but must regard the body as himself, without which he would die, and yet within which is his death equally inevitable.”

I love when I ask God for Love, and in return, I receive a calling to Love. God is saying that, of course, it is impossible to be separated from God’s Love. When I ask for Love, I am reminded that is is omnipresent. It is my free will that is mutable. I can increase my own Love, and I can leave guilt in the past where it belongs. I can create fresh energy. I can create a new phase. It is a choice to Love. God’s Love, however, that is inevitable.
