Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “A Course in Miracles” scribed by Helen Schucman.

January 2017 will go down in my life’s history as the month I spent with “A Course in Miracles”. Moreover, this will have been the month I began to fall in love with these teachings. Here is a New Life’s resolution. I may recall Love here. I may meet Love here. I may shout from rooftops, “Love is Free!”

Dear God, “It is an honor and a blessing to be in the presence of words, when so many words have me weary and appalled. These words, these teachings, lift me to a higher calling. What would You like to say today to lift us all to higher callings? Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage on page 85:

“Irrational thought is disordered thought. God Himself orders your thought because your thought was created by Him. Guilt feelings are always a sign that you do not know this. They also show that you believe you can think apart from God, and want to. Every disordered thought is attended by guilt at its inception, and maintained by guilt in its continuance. Guilt is inescapable by those who believe they order their own thoughts, and must therefore obey their dictates. This makes them feel responsible for their errors without recognizing that, by accepting this responsibility, they are acting irresponsibly. If the sole responsibility of the miracle worker is to accept Atonement for himself, and I assure you that it is, then the responsibility what is atoned for cannot be yours. The dilemma cannot be resolved except by accepting the solution of undoing. You would be responsible for the effects of all your wrong thinking if it could not be undone. The purpose of the Atonement is to save the past in purified form only. If you accept the remedy for disordered thought, a remedy whose efficacy is beyond doubt, how can it symptoms remain?”

New relationships with new people we meet are possibilities for renewal of love. It is possible to meet someone new every day. This is a higher calling to love. And those with whom we spend our quality time, those we have known before today, are calling us to love higher, too. Our Spiritual contracts, our pre-birth agreements, call us to a higher level of existence. This is one reason why Spiritual contracts are fascinating. In the body, we may see people with new eyes. Today, I invite you to see others with your Third Eye Chakra. Spiritual, loving recognition of one another. Have we met?
