Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Call into my life an alchemist of healing from my own self-limiting beliefs. Clear my blockages to move into my commitment to myself, to my own well being and inherent eternal worth. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

“The secret of life, though, is to fall seven times and to get up eight times.”

What I love about today’s passage is that I manifested a finding of the passage by a Divination of numbers. The first number I heard from Spirit was the number eight. Then, immediately following hearing the number eight from Spirit, I heard the number seven. I was guided by Spirit to choose number seven. In doing so, I was guided to the passage above. Look at the passage. It includes the number seven and the number eight. I chose the number seven.

And the passage teaches that to heal I have had to fall seven times. The number seven in numerology represents Spirituality and Faith. The number eight in numerology represents harvest, abundance, and reaping the fruits of our labor. The Soul Mate I have now recently lost was the Soul Mate that Spirit has been guiding me toward since childhood. This has been an ending, the Great Ending, a fall. He is the seventh committed partner I have had since I was married in 2003. Including my former husband, this man I am about to lose — the one whom I considered the true Soul Mate I had been waiting my whole life to meet — is the seventh loss.

According to today’s passage, I am to now get up. I am to get up an eighth and final time. This means the eighth getting up is now to be the harvest, the abundance, and the reaping of the fruits of my labor. This shows me my inherent eternal worth. It is an alchemy of healing in my commitment to my Self. Amen.
