Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “The Celestine Prophecy” by James Redfield.

Today I pray, “Dear God, It is Christmas Eve. And time at home, with family, is as peaceful and as plentiful as life gets for me. There is a grand stillness in this moment. A photograph enlarged and framed in a prominent position in the living room. I want to capture it and hold on to it forever. It isn’t the holiday that makes this so. It is the belonging. And no matter what eve, day, or honoring of the present, it is in knowing that we all belong here that captures the heart of the matter. Each and every one of us. God, bless us! Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

This year, more than any other year in this past nine-year cycle, has been the year that I have been devoted to honoring my commitments to family, home, and loved ones. This year was the year in this past nine-year cycle when I created a commitment to a lifelong Love Partnership on earth. This was the year when I chose marriage as a possibility. This was my six personal year in numerology. It was a nine universal year in numerology. Because it has been a six year for me, and because the major life themes of a six year are commitment, family, home, and marriage, I have felt this strongly in 2016. And the nine universal year — a year of endings, completions, and preparations for new beginnings — ties in beautifully to my year of embracing commitment.

As I embrace commitment in a collective consciousness of completions and new beginnings on the horizon, I expand in ways that I have never before imagined. I allow the past to remain in the past. And my future, which is the world’s future, is brighter than ever before. It is in this healing that I am creating the brightest possible future for All.
