Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Call It Sleep” by Henry Roth.
Today I pray, “Dear God, We already know the truth. We are not bound. We are not tied down. At our crossroads, we must make an enlightened choice. When we are at the sword fight, there is a dual. One will lose and one will win. We are there. We know that we must make a choice. The divine masculine must make a choice. Will I choose to be a king? Or to not? To be or not to be? That is the question. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:
They were like worn shoe-soles or very thin dimes. You never saw them wear, you only knew they were worn, obscurely aching.”
—HENRY ROTH
Even when we encounter a loss, we handle it very well. This is due to unconditional love and choice. I desire a happy family life. And I recognize that I have so much love to give. This cycles back to my knowing what I want. Unconditional love, the multitude of love I have to give.
