Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “To Kill a Mocking Bird” by Harper Lee.

Today I pray, “Dear God, When we open ourselves up to love — finally, the love we secretly know we deserve — what’s next?”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:

“You just hold your head high and keep those fists down. No matter what anybody says to you, don’t let ’em get your goat. Try fightin’ with your head for a change.”

This is very sound advice. I concur. We are more than capable, as spiritual beings having a human experience, of love through communication and the mind. This brings us to the heart, where love began. And this brings us to Source, where everything started. Chin up, dear ones. Chin up.
