Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle.
Today I pray, “Dear God, My mother’s mother, my grandmother, read this book to me when I was a child. Thank You for the comfort of mothers. Thank You for the comfort of grandmothers. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:
.
“He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. He stayed inside for more than two weeks. Then he nibbled a hole in the cocoon, pushed his way out and… he was a beautiful butterfly!”
—ERIC CARLE
It seems fitting to stay within the constructs of what we know. It is through the daring adventure of exploration that we survive in a thriving state. A floating state. A flying state. A new-creation state. A what’s-possible state. There is nothing to fear as we join with Source. There is the expansion and evolution of Love and Light. And in this, the I AM.
