Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Steppenwolf” by Hermann Hesse.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Are we being asked, nudged, and highly recommended to ignore media, politics, government, and religion?”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:

“You should not take old people who are already dead seriously. It does them injustice. We immortals do not like things to be taken seriously. We like joking. Seriousness, young man, is an accident of time. It consists, I don’t mind telling you in confidence, in putting too high a value on time. I, too, once put too high a value on time. For that reason I wished to be a hundred years old. In eternity, however, there is no time, you see. Eternity is a mere moment, just long enough for a joke.”

My personal discovery of metaphysics pioneer Dolores Cannon and clear conduit channel Pamela Aaralyn this past month has rocked my world. I feel an essence of true joy in listening to these humans speak of the Divine nature of being. In their own discoveries, I may learn and grow. These two women inspire me to know my own sense of what may be contributed to humanity for humanity’s sake.
