Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Pearls of Wisdom: Great Mind” by Lailah Gifty Akita.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Thank You for allowing my truest intentions in this medium of self-expression to be my expression of my Relationship with You. Thank You for Your abundant invitations, which allow me to share Our Relationship. As this is an era of full self-expression and connection with the world, the timing of this communication is befitting of such invitations. Thank You for allowing me to share Our story. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:

“If you cannot pray, simply recite Lord’s Prayer (Psalm 23:1-6) :
A psalm of David. New International Version
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.”

Every moment is a moment of allowing. This is where it is all happening. Here. Now. All that we are is brought into a new realization in each new moment. And this is creation. It is delightful to have a small yet glorious empathy with God.
