THESE WORDS OF GRACE

Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘The Power of Positive Thinking’ by Norman Vincent Peale.

Today I pray, “Dear God, When all the wars are over, with all the ashes flown; when all the hearts of all the men and women full and grown; when reverie and resolute achieve a valued face, we’ll pause and bow our heads in prayer to say these words of grace…”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:

“I place this day, my life, my loved ones, my work in the Lord’s hands. There is no harm in the Lord’s hands, only good. Whatever happens, whatever results, if I am in the Lord’s hands it is the Lord’s will and it is good.”
—NORMAN VINCENT PEALE

I release my grandness to the Son. Our daily bread is given. Our trespasses, forgiven. To this, I lay down my life openly for the hearts of men and women. For the living on earth and beyond that which we fully know. Our capabilities are calling us home, and our family is all around us. God is waiting for us to behold this blessed truth.
