Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘The Last Lecture’ by Randy Pausch.
Today I pray, “Dear God, Fear is the opposite of Love. Thank You for providing guidance at a time when good teachers can make all the difference in the world. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I opened the book to page 160 to find this passage:
“One thing that makes it possible to be an optimist is if you have a contingency plan for when all hell breaks loose. There are a lot of things I don’t worry about because I have a plan if they do.”
I have great faith that God has a plan. Love is our contribution to a plan already in place. Peace and forgiveness are important. There is no need for fear. Follow your dreams — allow yourself to be drawn to teachers who provide you with the guidance that is a good fit for you. Continue to grow into a higher level of consciousness. And in doing so, look for God in all the rite-of-passage places.
