Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the novel ‘Eat Pray Love’ by Elizabeth Gilbert.
Today I pray, “Dear God, I have been telling You in recent weeks that I have been receiving the word wind more prominently within my discernment. I wrote of wind a few times, beginning as early as August. I made a point to note that the word wind has been drawing my attention more than any other time in my past. This morning I awoke to information that a Category 5 hurricane, and the strongest storm ever recorded in human history, was fast approaching land from the Pacific Ocean. A news article today stated that even expert researchers are now gathering evidence to find clearer answers as to why this was not more distinctly forecasted.
I pray for the safety and well being of all people near and among the storm. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage on page 210:
“My path to God is a worker’s uprising,
won’t be peace till they unionize.
Their picket is so fearsome
the National Guard won’t go near them.”
—ELIZABETH GILBERT
Well, it has been a few days since I have offered a response to a passage. I will do my best with what I see here. I can definitely empathize with a sense of uprising and feeling distanced from people. Having premonitions feels odd…for about the first few complicated experiences. Then, with faith, it has simply become a part of life for me. I know it may sound funny, but when I heard today about the largest wind storm ever recorded happening now, I humbly bowed my head and said aloud, “Of course it is.”
When you take a woman and put her on a blog…and she writes of “the Crystal Era” in which we now live, the woman sounds, let’s be real, easily dismissible. Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, and The Beatles shared their voices with the world during the Violet Era — an era of peace, love, and taking the stage to say what needed to be said to move forward. The Indigo Era, which was most intensely felt between the years 2000-2012, allowed us to be surrounded by remarkable trailblazing children and teens. These children announced with heightened and unabashed integrity that computers are easy to navigate; bullying will not be tolerated; the earth is on loan from our great-grandchildren; love is not defined by sex and gender; and Awetism, ADD, and ADHD are invitations for us to wake up and pay attention to how amazing they are. Indigo auras are bold and bright and will not be cajoled into doing something that falls outside of their inherent senses of integrity. They are here to prepare the world for the Crystal auras.
Children being born in this decade are highly sensitive sages, Christ-like healers of the earth. It is difficult to see this now because we are starting to really notice and pay attention to the influence of the Indigo Era. The Crystal Era will likely usher in themes of inner peace, quiet, grace and forgiveness, more earth consciousness, and attuning to the body and the senses (for example, beware of sugar as it can interrupt their senses of inner knowing and peace). The winds of change are stirring. The Indigos are here to cause an uprising. Unity can make the world a safer place for fragile Crystals. Crystals are gentle and loving healers — the calm after the storm.
