Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘Life’s Little Treasure Book On Things that Really Matter’ by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Today I pray, “Dear God, What are Your words today on leadership, mastery, and power?”

Following my prayer, I held the little book in my hands and opened it to the following passage:

“Remember that every day we have the power to do good by words if not by deeds.”

This resonated with me in terms of intercessory prayer and… well, blogging. And I see how much the power of words can make a difference that really matters to people. We have the power to compliment someone. We have the power to empathize. We have the power to stand up for the underdog when we know it is the next noble step to take. Our words create our world. And that kind of leadership is the leadership of masters.
