Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘The Writing Life’ by Annie Dillard.
I pray, “Dear God, Where is writing taking me? What is to be said of a life of writing?”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to page 98 to reveal God’s answer:
“Nothing on earth is more gladdening than knowing we must roll up our sleeves and move back the boundaries of the humanly possible once more.”
—ANNIE DILLARD
A gladdening life experience; knowing that I am a boundary mover, a possibility expander. Already, I feel as though I have unfurled borderlines to a place of wonder. It has been fitting of me. I get to be authentic. And when I grow, my self-expression follows suit. Sleeves rolled up, life well played.
