Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Life Without Limits: Inspiration for a Ridiculously Good Life” by Nicholas James Vujicic.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Today was one of those days when I had a multitude of pressing revelations. One revelation was when a colleague of mine approached me in the hallway at work and said, matter-of-factly, ‘Happy Birthday!’ Today is not my Birthday. My Birthday is about six months from now. Yet my response was, ‘Thank you!’ I smiled and thought, ‘Today, yesterday, tomorrow, any day can be my Birthday. Every day can be my Birthday! I can be re-born to life every day!’ May we each feel such an essence of vitality and new aliveness with each and every glorious sunrise!

Another reeling revelation was that I am contributing to people in my immediate circle of communication just by being myself. I have no idea what it is that I say — or how it is that I say it — that is changing the course of peoples’ lives around me. This includes the 80-person-per-day average with whom my connections arise during my workweek. And the one-hour phone call I have with my sister every Tuesday — we talked today, as today is a Tuesday. This includes my weekly, bi-weekly, and as seldom as monthly conversations with my mother. This includes the monthly or bi-monthly conversations held with my other immediate family members. This includes conversations and interactions with my community house mates. And the weekly conference calls with my fellow students in my extended learning courses. There are so many instances when I am making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those around me. And this, finally realized, was fully drawn in and self-appreciated today.

Another sparkling and dazzling insight? People enjoy and appreciate me. I noticed it today. And I allowed myself to acknowledge myself for this.
Thank You for days filled with a constancy of gifts such as these. Happy Birthday to me! All my Love. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

How quickly the acknowledgement of my birth birthed a ew perspective within me. The Kingdom of God shines through. And I experience myself as the worthiness I have always been and will always be. This perception is available in each and every one of us. We are loved. We are appreciated. We are Divine. We Are.
