Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Self-compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself” by Kristen Neff, Ph.D..
Today I pray, “Dear God, What is a grand and glorious reason to be kind to ourselves?”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:
“Rather than wandering around in problem-solving mode all day, thinking mainly of what you want to fix about yourself or your life, you can pause for a few moments throughout the day to marvel at what’s not broken. You.”
—KRISTEN NEFF
How beautiful a moment to marvel at ourselves! To love ourselves. To be compassionate to ourselves. To stand in awe of ourselves, first individually, as self-love, then collectively, as love for all humanity and all planet earth. What a grand and glorious ripple! Hold the stone of self-love with you for the time that you are to receive this message, this development, this expansion, this consciousness. And then drop this stone foundation of self-love into the pool of the collective and experience the miracle of your self-love reflected throughout the entire earth and beyond. Amen. Namaste.
