Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “The Great Pearl of Wisdom” by Bangambiki Habyarimana.
Today I pray, “Dear God, I heard an acquaintance say the other day, ‘I do what I want.’ Refreshing! With integrity, when we do what we want, what excites us, are we on to something more evolved as humans? Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:
“Simple minded people find simple solutions to their problems.”
—BANGAMBIKI HABYARIMANA
“I do what I want.” The problem, if any, may be a feeling of being controlled. In this case, the solution is doing what one wants. Of course this is to reside within integrity, compassion, and kindness. And if there is no integrity, no compassion, no kindness, there is less expansion and evolution. So to do what one wants as a simple means to a problem of feeling controlled, there may exist expansion and evolution when this doing is done with integrity, compassion, and kindness. If not, this could become a problem for others. And in that problem, the simple solution is to remind the world of the importance of integrity, compassion, and kindness. Evolution and expansion. Simple.
