Today’s Prayer to Passage will continue on a month’s-long journey with the book “A Course in Miracles” scribed by Helen Schucman.

Today I pray, “Dear God, There had to be a cloud nine at some point. I knew I could not continue within the state I was merely surviving for the sake of survival. I always knew I was meant to thrive. And so, now, today, I thrive. Thank You for this. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage on page 19:

“You can defend truth as well as error. The means are easier to understand after the value of the goal is firmly established. It is a question of what it is for. Everyone defends his treasure, and will do so automatically. The real questions are, what do you treasure, and how much do you treasure it? Once you have learned to consider these questions and to bring them into all your actions, you will have little difficulty in clarifying the means. The means are available whenever you ask. You can, however, save time if you do not protract this step unduly. The correct focus will shorten it immeasurably.”

I know what I want. Yes, I am action oriented. Yes, I am a little impatient. Yes, I am full of hope. I am ready. I am more than ready, and I wonder why I did not manifest this sooner. I am delighted in love. I am pure in all of this, and I am healing all around me.
