Today’s Prayer to Passage continues with the book “A Course in Miracles” scribed by Helen Schucman.

Today I pray, “Dear God, I know that I have done the work and followed my calling with excellence. I know that I have been faithful and true in and throughout all of this. I never thought my life would have so much richness. I never knew life could have such eternal meaning. I have seen it for Yeshua, for the Buddha, for many other great Masters and glorified teachers in their own rites. Not for me. I am now growing into acceptance of my own Mastery and Glory. Thank You for this. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage on page 509:

“The Christ in you is very still. He looks on what He loves, and knows it as Himself. And thus does He rejoice at what He sees, because He knows that it is one with Him and with His Father. Specialness, too, takes joy in what it sees, although it is not true. Yet what you seek for is a source of joy as you conceive it. What you wish is true for you. Nor is it possible that you can wish for something and lack faith that it is so. Wishing makes real, as surely as does will create. The power of a wish upholds illusions as strongly as does love extend itself. Except that one deludes; the other heals.”

I am in union with the one who heals. As I trust Love and Partnership, I trust union and healing. I trust a bright and ever-promising future. I trust lifelong commitment and dreams come true. The Christ in me is here, and I am faithful and patient. I know the Divine Blessing is to soon arrive. And what I wish is true for me. Blessings abound!
