Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment” by Eckhart Tolle.

Today I pray, “Dear God, I am in the passion and enthusiasm of going willingly. There is simply no more waiting. I am going without waiting. And this is the spiritual experience of it.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:

“Love is not selective, just as the light of the sun is not selective. It does not make one person special. It is not exclusive. Exclusivity is not the love of God but the “love” of ego.”

This is why I enjoy loving so much. Because it is always available. I choose. My partners are “adventure hosts”. I love them while they are willing to stick around, and when we part from partnership, I am ecstatic with the thought of loving a new “adventure host”. Of course, I, too, am a host in all of this. I bring forth lessons and discoveries and enlightenments that were not there before. And I love to watch them walk away, know that I’ve imparted something bigger than they could have possibly imagined, even if they are not yet aware of it.

This is my joy in all of this. Even in Heaven, my partners will see and know and learn and discover aspects of having known me that will thrill them to no end. There may be some moments of difficulty, as they discover they could have stayed with me in this lifetime on the full journey, yet chose to forego it. And that’s OK. Because they can come back and do life again. And so, I am off to another adventure. I wish you well on your journey. Until we meet again.
