Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Their Eyes Were Watching God” by Zora Neale Hurston.
Today I pray, “Dear God, When we say, “I want something, but…” You are asking us to replace the big but with “I want something, and…” It is in the and that possibility arises. Thank You for this. Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage:
“No hour is ever eternity, but it has its right to weep.”
—ZORA NEALE HURSTON
And it has its right to weep. And possibility arises. And anything is possible. And the future is brighter than ever before. I create my life. And my life is perfect.
