BLISS AMIDST BLAMING

Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Non-Violent Communication: A Language of Life” by Marshall B. Rosenberg.

Today I pray, “Dear God, I believe that non-violent diplomacy, prayer in school, and the dismantling of seeming favourable financial resources is today’s peaceful stone when giants emerge. Thank You for these insights, which arise within. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:

.
“We only feel dehumanized when we get trapped in the derogatory images of other people or thoughts of wrongness about ourselves. As author and mythologist Joseph Campbell suggested, “‘What will they think of me?’ must be put aside for bliss.” We begin to feel this bliss when messages previously experienced as critical or blaming begin to be seen for the gifts they are: opportunities to give to people who are in pain.”
—MARSHALL B. ROSENBERG

It is a gift to receive from others through listening and awareness of our surroundings. This is the start to connection. This is the bright possibility. When we are in tune with what works and what does not work, we are able to make informed choices that benefit others in an essence of Love and the highest and greatest good for all.
