Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens.
Today I pray, “Dear God, Why don’t You want me to know yet? Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:
“I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss. I see the lives for which I lay down my life, peaceful, useful, prosperous and happy. I see that I hold a sanctuary in their hearts, and in the hearts of their descendants, generations hence. It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.”
—CHARLES DICKENS
All I had to do was ask. And God gave me the answer. I now know why I am here. I continue this communication from Source God to all of you, and to all of existence beyond earth. It is a greater honor than I could have imagined prior to knowing. And it is in knowing that I claim this honor, and bring it to Source light.
