“TO BE INTIMATE WITH GOD”

Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “1984” by George Orwell.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Thank You for an increase in interconnectedness among people, all around the world. The world is truly transforming and taking shape into something magnificent through connections such as social media. I notice it as in new neighborhoods growing, photos posted, caring affinities expressed, and hopefulness shared. Thank You, God, for this added sharing in something we are all extending our spirits toward: one another — and alignment with Your Source Energy. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:

“Big Brother is Watching You.”
—GEORGE ORWELL

I love that this is today’s passage! Because it is cause for action toward what may be stated about it. May you never read today’s passage in any way other than God’s Love from this moment on. God is the BIGGEST BIG BROTHER that anyone could ever possibly imagine. And yes, this loving “Brother” is watching us all. God knows every single vibration of everything that pleases you. What a gift of all possible gifts!

I stumbled upon a video of a musician named Brian today. I am posting the video below. I was moved by Brian’s story because he is exactly the guy Jesus would be spending time with in 2016 — both before and after the drugs. Jesus was this kind of friend. He took care of people the others had passed by, the ones others assumed would be left to their own vices to gradually fade into the night. Not Jesus. He was the Biggest Big Brother earth has ever known. God is watching us, as we share our lives with one another — casual, formal, maleficent, magnificent, with prowess, with power, with peace, and with love. And everything in between and all around — everywhere, all ways, aligned with God’s Source Energy … in Brotherly Love. Amen.
