Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book “Invisible Man” by Ralph Ellison.
Today I pray, “Dear God, What are we to do with a conversation in our presence in an essence of existence not visible to the human eye? Amen.”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to this passage:
“I am invisible, understand, simply because people refuse to see me.”
—RALPH ELLISON
Children scattered in the streets, looking for money; the wealthiest, offering their wealth to creating a world that works for ALL people; trees that sway throughout the forest, and the glistening light that peers through the leaves of life’s vibration…
I have heard the wind blow softly in essence. And this, too, is God.
