Today’s Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘Somewhere Angels’ by Larry Libby.

Today I pray, “Dear God, Please send us Angels on earth to guide us. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to reveal this passage on page 30.

“But Jesus didn’t want to fight. He didn’t want to defend Himself. He knew he had come to Earth to die on a cross. He knew He had come to save the world, not destroy it. He knew that if the angels rescued Him (and oh! How they must have wanted to!), then you and I would never be able to know God or live with Him in Heaven. Because He loved you and me so much—that’s why He wouldn’t let the angels rescue Him. If He had been rescued, we could never, never have been rescued!”

I see earth angels all around. They are in kindness, compassion, grace, empathy, charity, joy, peace, protection, honor, and love. They are in children, reminding us of purity and simplicity. They are in caretakers of people and the earth. They are in miracles, recoveries, and closures. Angels on earth guide our hearts and minds, and prepare us. At once, it echoed like a bell; that ringing cry announced unto the starlit Heavens and resonated throughout the world, Rejoice!
