Today’s to your health Prayer to Passage will be from the book ‘5-Minute Cures and Overnight Miracles’ by Harold H Bloomfield, MD.
Today I pray, “Dear God, I am rounding out my three-day bundle of prayers surrounding care for the body. What’s for dessert?”
Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and concentrated toward the opening to this passage:
Page 26:
“FATIGUE…
Fresh fruits provide the digestive enzymes the body requires to process nutrients and convert food into energy.EYE OPENER
1/3 cup orange juice
1 cup cherries, pitted
12 strawberries, hulled and halved
1 orange, peeled, seeded, and chopped
Blend
Serves 2(Women who are pregnant or nursing and people with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, should check with their doctor before taking any herbs.)”
There has been a noticeable theme over the courses of meal counsel being served during the past three days. Each offering from God was in regards to digestion. Perhaps there is something to this. We concentrate so heavily on what we are putting into our bodies, often overlooking the importance of getting contents out of our bodies in a timely manner. I am not a nutritionalist by any definition of the title, yet in seeing this theme throughout three different books in response to three different prayers, I now reflect on the importance of proper digestion. When digested food sits within, it could become toxic. Similar, I suppose, to when negative thoughts sit within our minds. Similar, I gather, to when fear invades one’s soul. Body, mind, spirit. Here’s to health!
