I’LLNESS VS. WE’LLNESS

Today I am remembering a conversation with God that I had eleven years ago. The words came to me so fluidly. God said, “When you will yourself away from Me, separating My offerings from your desire to do it on your own, you become ill. When you will My Presence in your life, allowing Me to work through you, you become well. You see, when you say, ‘I will,’ you are saying ‘I’ll.’ And when you say, ‘We will,’ you are saying ‘We’ll.’

It was a very clear message, an original gift.
Prayer to Passage is We’llness. God and I team up. The dedication and commitment that We have for one another grows with care. As I see God participating with me, I realize it is because I am participating with God. We honor Our relationship with exchange, not expectation.

Today’s Prayer to Passage is from the daybook ‘Jesus Calling’ by Sarah Young.

Dear God, “Today I am thinking about how much better my days are with You. It is a better life. All is well. Thank You for being my Partner. I love You. Amen.”

Following my prayer, I held the closed book in my hands and opened it to the passage for August 20:

.
“I AM A GOD WHO HEALS. I heal broken bodies, broken minds, broken hearts, broken lives, and broken relationships. My very Presence has immense healing powers. You cannot live close to Me without experiencing some degree of healing. However it is also true that you have not because you ask not. You receive the healing that flows naturally from My Presence, whether you seek it or not. But there is more–much more–available to those who ask.

The first step in receiving healing is to live ever so close to Me. The benefits of this practice are too numerous to list. As you grow more and more intimate with Me, I reveal My will to you more directly. When the time is right, I prompt you to ask for healing of some brokenness in you or in another person. The healing may be instantaneous, or it may be a process. That is up to Me. Your part is to trust Me fully and to thank Me for the restoration that has begun.

I rarely heal all the brokenness in a person’s life. Even My servant Paul was told, ‘My grace is sufficient for you,’ when he sought healing for the thorn in his flesh. Nonetheless, much healing is available to those whose lives are intimately interwoven with Mine. Ask, and you will receive.”
—SARAH YOUNG

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find.”
—MATTHEW 7:7

Well, this is what I’m writing about. I love how it all comes together, never ceasing to amaze me. Right before each passage arrives, I hold my breath a little. I always wonder if my prayer and thoughts will connect with God’s message. I have even started to notice, lately, signs and symbols connecting within one day following a passage. And I am ready to ask for even more.

In the growing of Our intimacy, I do feel a more direct revealing of God’s will. It is at this time in my life that I am trying to figure out what’s next. My life work is meant to be in this area of daily miracles. I need to ask God to work with me to actually make this my life work. I feel like I am getting there, yet I haven’t quite gotten the message beyond the messages. This is the time to pray, to ask.

I am very much looking forward to where this is going. I’ve been enjoying it so much that I have forgotten to ask for more. We will move forward into the “more–much more–available.” And this is only the beginning. In prayer tonight, I will close the day with this asking for more. And receive We’llness in Our Presence.

Be Well.
