Today’s Prayer to Passage comes from ‘Meditations from Conversations With God’ by Neale Donald Walsch. Because if it ain’t broke…

“Dear God, There are so many occasions, milestones, and hallmarks to celebrate. What is Your blessing of joyful and loving observances?”

I meditated on this prayer and opened the book to page 47:

“There is perfection in the process, and all life arises out of choice. It is not appropriate to interfere with choice, nor to question it. It is particularly inappropriate to condemn it.”

I like this answer. It is not as full of jubilation as I was expecting. At first I thought it sounded a little bit negative. I really had to sit with it for several minutes. And the mastery that arose as I focused on the passage was that this is God’s blessing of everything we lovingly and joyfully celebrate, including all religions.

God is the constant. We keep forgetting this. I do not believe God denies anyone who believes in God. Love is the answer.
